| Functional English |
The coordinator of this course is Dr. Sarika Kanjlia, Associate Professor. Most of our graduates were in need of language training. That is why the IQAC of the college recommended that students should be given some kind of training in spoken English. The college introduced one year Certificate Course in Functional English with effect from 2012-2013.
The basic goal of this course is to develop communication skills among students. The seed money of Rupees 7 lakhs was provided by UGC, New Delhi. The same was used to create language lab. There are about 40 students in a batch. The course fee is Rs. 1500 per student. The syllabus has been designed by the Department of English, Aggarwal College, in consultation with the Department of English, MD University, Rohtak and the software has been developed by an IT company in Ahmedabad. |
